Avicularia

The name "Avicularia" was made by Debason as a result of his fascination with big spiders. The main idea is to create very unusual and original, yet brutal metal music without any generic limitations. Music is deeply rooted in death metal with strong influences of bands like Cryptopsy, Immolation, Death, Morbid Angel, Nile, Gorguts, Deicide, classic trash bands like Metallica, Slayer, Sepultura but also mixed up with various other influences like classical/jazz/rock.

The first Avicularia's rehersals started in August 2003 with lineup: Mario-bas & vox, Win-guitars, Debason-drums and Domagoj-guitars. In next 3 years Avicularia had same more changers on guitar and bass that finally ended with lineup: Igor Kaltnecker - Guitar, vox / Domagoj Lovric - Guitar, vox / Kresimir Lovric aka Debason - drums, screams / Sergej Simpraga - bass. With that lineup, Avicularia recorded and released in April 2009 its first album ?Born to be vile" that is very well excepted in metal community worldwide.

In 2011 there were line up changes since Igor (guitar, vocals) left the band. New members are Haris on guitar and Darko on vocals. Avicularia is now rehearsing new material, getting ready for studio?hopefully by the end of 2012.
