Satin Whale
Genre:
Pop/Rock

Satin Whale was a German progressive rock band formed in the early 70s. Their basic style combined elements of jazz fusion and symphonic rock music, with prominent guitar, organ, flute, and saxophone. The group's first album, Desert Places came out in 1974; between then and 1979, the band released a total of six albums. One final album, 1980's Don't Stop the Show, featured the addition of Triumvirat singer Barry Palmer and a more rock-oriented commercial sound.
