MARYSON develops concept albums with short or long pieces given to these records the form of a suite. The themes are turn to turn lyrical, serene, nostalgic or more energetic, epic and solemn. "Master Magician I" is rich in arrangment with even some orchestra and choir with nice melodies and pleasant and sometimes captivating to listen to. Musically the album can be compared to "The Key Trilogy" by STRANGERS ON A TRAIN.
Their concept albums are melodic with as basic ingredients the guitars, the vocals and of course the synths. Very beautiful symphonic albums. Not too complex and with some neoprog and folk aspects. Lovers of CAMEL should not hesitate. Thjis Van Leer of FOCUS plays on "On Goes The Quest".
