Sometimes, there's a special magic that occurs between two people when they play music together; Gram and Emmylou, George and Tammy, Porter and Dolly - they all created sparks. Bill Chambers and Audrey Auld draw on the influence of those classic duos, plus that of their own history of loving, leaving, laughing and fighting to create an entertainment experience that's anything but predictable! It was Hank Williams who introduced Bill Chambers to Audrey Auld. Not that he'd ever know it. Hank was long gone but his Birthday Parties continue and it was at one such party in Sydney, 1996 where Bill met Audrey. In retrospect that meeting was quite significant.

These musical soul mates went on to establish their own Reckless Records label, record an award winning duet album 'Looking Back To See', revive interest in traditional country and roots music in Australia, host the weekly 'Bill & Audrey's Hillbilly Jam' for several years and inspire independent artists to follow their muse and swim against the stream.

Entertaining has always been a strong suit for both Bill & Audrey. Voted Best Duo in the 1998 Victorian Country Music Awards, they were also CMAA Gold Guitar Finalists (Vocal Group/Duo) in 2000. Bill & Audrey were also Independent Entertainer of the Year finalists in the inaugural CMAA Achiever Awards 2000.
