Kaoru Kimura (1984 -2012) was an electronic music producer and DJ who created freeform hardcore/hard nrg, sometimes arranging video game music. At the end of 2009, he started his own label, TOTAL DISCOMMUNICATION. Its first release was a compilation of industrial hardcore, called "Pure Existence". On October 6, 2012, it was announced that Kimura had passed away 2 weeks prior. He was 28 years old. Kimura cited Alek Száhala and Ophidian as key influences. When producing experimental tracks, he used the pseudonym Berserk+Haste.
