If zodiac signs are any indication as to what kind of success YUNG ONYX is preparing to encounter, then it's safe to say that they are well on their way to following in the footsteps as the original ONYX group. With all four members of YUNG ONYX having the same zodiac signs as their predecessors, it's no wonder that these young protege's from Queen's NY are able to bring the same high volume energy and raw lyrical talent that earned ONYX a Multi-Platinum title.

With their debut album Bacdufucup selling over two million copies, ONYX came on the scene and took the industry by storm with such hits as " Bacdufucup"," Throw Ya Gunz" and the hit song" Slam" all which ultimately led ONYX to receiving that year's Soul Train Music award for "Best Rap Album" .
More than ten years after "THE MADFACE INVASION" took over and introduced the world to the true meaning of Hardcore Rap, ONYX member Fredro Starr has embarked on a mission to ressurect the in-your-face style of rapping that was the staple of ONYX and acquired them fans all around the world. This time around there is no Fredro,no Sticky Fingaz, no Sonee or Big DS but the four members that do form YUNG ONYX might very well be a match only fate could have arranged. The outcome to their long journey ahead is yet to be determined but based on the few bangers that have been made thus far, its quite obvious that with Fredro's guidance and support and each members natural lyrical ability to write their own verses, YUNG ONYX might very well be the breath of fresh air that the industry needs right now.
