World Ambient Symphony

World Ambient Symphony performs music that is 100% improvised, integrating electronics and computers with more traditional instruments such as bass, guitar, keyboards and percussion. With each performance, the band embarks on a journey together, and invites the audience to join them in their exploration. The result is an involving, interactive (and potentially trance-inducing) experience in which time and space become fluid, with all involved sharing the same moment together.

World Ambient Symphony features Daren Burns on bass and electronics, Koorosh Daryaie on percussion and electronics, and Matt Piper on guitar, keyboards, and electronics. Their first CD as a trio has just been released, entitled Random Walk out of the Sun.
