Whiteout

There are at least two artists on last.fm under the name "Whiteout": 1) Whiteout, the band, were from Greenock, Scotland. Their amalgam of country rock influences such as The Byrds and classic rock riffs of bands like Mott the Hoople and The Faces were warmly received by the rock critics in the UK and American press. In 1994 they released the singles "Detroit", "No Time" and "Starrclub" followed by their debut album ?Bite It? in 1995 on Silvertone Records (ex-label of The Stone Roses). This was followed by another single "Jackie's Racing".

2) WhiteOut is an MC/producer/engineer born in Minneapolis, MN on July, 24, 1984. Raised in Pembroke Pines, FL (suburb of Ft. Lauderdale), he first started writing lyrics around his freshman year in high school (1999-2000.) He first started recording his sophomore year (2000-2001.) After graduating high school, WhiteOut moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he attended DePaul University for one year. The next year, WhiteOut moved back to Pembroke Pines, where he would stay for the next six months, before moving to Delafield, Wisconsin and soon after, Orlando, Florida where he graduated from the Audio Recording Technology Institute. After graduating, he moved back to South Florida where he would move back and forth between Ft. Lauderdale and Pembroke Pines for the next year or so. After briefly living in North Miami Beach (Aventura), he moved back to Pembroke Pines for about two months. Since then its been back and forth between Ft. Lauderdale and Raleigh, North Carolina, where he now resides.
