About Warren Pash Born and raised in Winnipeg and Montreal, Pash lived in Los Angeles and Portland before moving to Nashville. He penned a hit for Hall & Oates ("Private Eyes"), had a song recorded by Carole King ("Life Without Love") and has written music for film and television. Pash has played bass for Screamin' Jay Hawkins as well as the late Rosco Gordon and shared the stage with Lucinda Williams, The Pixies, The Waterboys, Roger McGuinn, Jeff Healey and Big Star, among others, and -- together with members of the Mavericks, Wilco and Cheap Trick -- played in the supergroup Swag.
