Venturia

Venturia is a French progressive metal band created in 2000 by Charly SAHONA and Diego RAPACCHIETTI. The line-up is made of 6 musicians (including 2 singers): Charly Sahona (guitar, keys), Kevin Codfert (keys solos on "the new kingdom"), Thomas James (bass), Diego Rapacchietti ( drums ), Marc Ferreira (lead vocal), Lydie Robin (vocals). They released their first album in 2006, it's entitled "The New Kingdom". The pop/rock-like singing of Marc contrasts with the pure, clean and sensual female voice of Lydie Robin, creating a fantastic blend of aggressive and melodic vocal duet lines.

The debut album was highly acclaimed by medias. In 2007, VENTURIA was invited by Swiss Television TSR to record a one-hour live show. During all of that year, the band wrote new songs and worked on new sounds.

In late 2007, VENTURIA went to Switzerland and began the recording of their new opus, "Hybrid", at Artsonik studios . The band had the opportunity to have a great production and took a long time to finalize the record. The album was recorded by Carryl Montini, and the mix was done by Kevin Codfert and Carryl Montini.
