Big stabs and massive drums pound it out. Huge! His talent was evident. Armand Pena's track reached the top 10 on beatport.com for the most downloads during the summer of 2004 for ?Watching Me'.

Armand has positioned himself in the underground dance scene not only as a DJ, but as well as a Music Producer extending his releases with Robbie Rivera Juicy label, George Morels Groove on label and Star 69 records. From the underground dance scene in the legendary South Beach strip to the prestigious Coconut Grove, Armand Pena has amassed an impressive array of artistic accomplishments. But considering that music was in his veins at birth, it comes to no surprise! especially to his father who himself was a DJ. Born in New York City, music was a constant in DJ Armand s family and social life. Armand Pena was exposed to the DJ scene at a young age as he eagerly tagged along with his father to gigs not only to listen and learn, but also contributing with his unique style. It didn't take long before Armand grabbed his dad s turntables, attempted his first mix, and was bitten for life. Armand Pena has spun in such great venues in the mixed party scene in New York City, San Francisco, Miami and South America. Word started spreading about his house sets, and soon let to his big break spinning for promotional group Cafe con leche for their branded dj tour in Miami. Playing alongside NY DJs such as Merrit, Junior O, and Kris Spirit in the early nineties. Armand has gained exposure throughout the Miami area, playing venues such as The Marlin (with DJ Tracy Young), Push, Living Room, Shadow Lounge, Liquid, Club Space, Crobar, and currently has a residence @Oxygen lounge and Nikki Marina. While Armand Pena gets support from house superstars like Oscar G & Ralph Falcon Murk, Robbie Rivera, Peter Rauhofer, Tom Stephan Superchumbo, Palash, Danny Tenaglia and many more. Armand Pena s production and djing will be his main focus to grow as an artist and get the respect of dance music lovers.
