Arleta

Arleta (??????) is a greek singer. Her real name is Nikoleta Tsapra. She was born in Athens on the 3rd of March 1945. She studied painting at Athens School of Fine Arts. A lot of people, especially Greeks, when they hear Arleta's name, they think associatively the word ?new wave' (??? ????). And however, a long time has passed from then when Arleta first appeared in the Greek discography, and made sense with her particular voice, her expressive and sensitive interpretations.

And despite that, indeed, the first years of her career Arleta constituted one of the most influential pioneer of the 60s and the so called ?new wave', then, her musical roads followed very different and interesting streets.
