Tranqualizer

Tranqualizer is a young rock band from Basel. They themselves describe their style of music as "soul rock", resulting from the high musical dynamics and the lyrical profundity. Characteristics of Tranqualizer's music are singer David Howald's full bass voice and its outbreaks into agressive shouting, Dominique Preg's epic piano parts and the distressfulness of the lyrical topics. For live shows the second guitar player, Moritz van Wjinkoop, occasionally enhances the sound with a violin. The five-member group exists since 2007.
