Answer: The most eclectic band on the planet: Tieweb
Combining vast influences ranging from Herbie Hancock to The Pixies, Tieweb fuses memorable melodies with danceable grooves and soaring guitar riffs to create a unique indie-rock sound.
The Virginia-based band was founded in 2004 by singer/guitarist Justin Fazzari and lead guitarist Eric Bayles. Tieweb solidified its cast with the addition of rock/jazz drummer Steve Quesenberry and bassist Chris Aylward in 2005. Tieweb released its first EP Setting the Sun in 2006. Its debut full-length album, Indier Than Thou, recorded by Washington Area Music Association (WAMA) award-winning producer Marco Delmar, was released in 2009. The combination of tightly crafted melodies and avant-garde lead guitar creates an album that you can instantly sing along with after the first listen. The mix between electric rock songs and acoustic, slightly alt-country songs reveals a dynamic sound and presents a fresh experience with every listen.
