Three-piece garage band from Columbus, Ohio, that recorded in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They described their work as "Hymns of suburban teenage misery" that could be summarized as: 1. songs about bands that were more successful than us and, therefore, we hated; 2. songs about girls that did not like us; 3. songs about being broke and miserable; 4. songs about revenge. The band members all attended Colubus' performing arts high school, Fort Hayes.

The band members all attended Colubus' performing arts high school, Fort Hayes. Describing the curriculum there as "insufferable whitebread jazz", they discovered in each other a "shared interest in American indie rock: The Replacements, the Descendents, The Meat Puppets, Black Flag, and Columbus' own Royal Crescent Mob."
