The Younger Sister Band

The Younger Sister Band is a NYC based country rock band. They specialize in fun, old style honky tonk, rock n roll, blues and folk. Their debut album "No Desire" was released in early 2007 on the small independent Monvercomp label and features sixteen original tracks that sound like old classics. Fronted by two women, the band features four songwriters, acoustic and electric guitars, harmonica, electric bass, trapset and is often accompanied by additional players on pedal steel, violin or slide guitars.

They can often be found playing in Brooklyn, Manhattan and elsewhere in the New England region.
