In 2007 "The Vigilante Punk" Sky Miller (age 15) released his first, DIY, solo punk rock album, "Down the Drain." Sky then started work on his next album, but during the early stages of songwriting he met drummer Quinn Kloeppel, also age 15. (Both artists originated from central Missouri, U.S.) The two started work on 13 tracks of hard hitting punk rock that has become their new album, "Demons from Mars" produced by their own indie label, N.O.Vative Enterprises and released June 2008.
This two piece band has been influenced by original punk rock bands such as the Adolescents, Ramones, Sex Pistols, Black Flag, Misfits, Minor Threat and Agent Orange. The Vigilante Punks consider themselves a straight-edge band.
The Vigilante Punks are firing back at all the corporate punk bands who try to monopolize punk rock. "It's time to take punk rock back to it's roots...back to when it was about the music and not the money!" they say in their cdbaby.com biography.
