There are more then one band known as The Symptoms. 1. The Symptoms (1978-1982) were a punk band formed during the late seventies San Francisco punk rock scene. Originally known as Crispy Baby, they are best known for the song Simple Sabotage. The four original members were Lester Stress, Bobby Imsolucki, Rocky Graham and Nosmo King. In 2006 The Symptoms reunited, followed by a new album release in 2008.

Drawing influence from modern bands like Incubus, The National, Wilco, Explosions in the Sky and Death Cab for Cutie, they utilize varying forms of instrumentation and production to sculpt a unique sound. The Symptoms just released there debut album "Auction of the Mind."
