In the summer of 2006 Jason Galbraith a multi-instrumentalist decided to write and record his
own record. After toying with countless parts, concepts and ideas, Jason had enough material to
give birth to The Smile. Fast forward to fall 2006 when Jason hit the studio recording an eight song
self titled CD all by his lonesome. The Recording was near revolutionary and quickly attracted
Jason's musical peers to form the band and preform live. The Smile's avant approach was
instantly embraced by fans of the genre selling discs around the world prior to their first
performance.
Currently The Smile is playing shows throughout Ontario as well as booking their first batch
of lengthy tours for summer ?08 and beyond.
