The Shuffles

The Shuffles is a Dutch band from the city of Rosmalen, which stormed the hitparades worldwide during the sixties. The band actually began in 1963, as a dance orchestra and it's origins was as a schoolband. In 1963 the singer Albert West became a member of the band, and when they released their first single 'Cha la la, I need you' they stormed the hitparade around Europe and the USA. 'Bitter Tears' is another hit and several other songs reached high positions in the hitparade's.

1973 is the year that the lead singer Albert West goes solo and ever since 1972, The Shuffles mainly perform during reunions of the band. Most recently in 1999.
