The band came up in 2002 and in the same year they start playing live into the major venues becoming an increasing indie phenomenon downtown, collecting live gigs and being broadcasted by music TVs and Italian radios.

The Shadow Line are 4 young musicians from Rome, coming from different music experiences of the roman pop/rock scene. The band came up in 2002 and in the same year they start playing live into the major venues becoming an increasing indie phenomenon downtown, collecting live gigs and being broadcasted by music TVs and Italian radios. Since 2005 The Shadow Line supported in their Italian tours bands such like The Others, Test Icicles, The Show is the Rainbow, Confuse the Cat, Yeti. During their career they produce 3 EP reflecting the influences thru the times: starting from a brit-oriented sound and reaching a new attitude between new wave, disco dance rythms and the british indie rock from bands like teenage fanclub, franz Ferdinand, Kaiser chiefs and the killers. In 2007 they present their first video release, Erasing Mind, from the self titled Ep, with the participation of Italian indie-tronica artists like Bubblegun, Mao and Homespun.
