THE PHOENIX PHILOSOPHY pushes the envelope when it comes to answering the question: how is rock music evolving in the postmodern world? Sonically, the band employs commanding guitars dueled against a potent influence of the electronic, memorable vocal hooks backed against pacing dance beats?all infused with a diminutive flare of the avant-garde. The stories told within their songs on the thematic level are the stories of the relations between individuals?for better, for worse, but often simply stating the darker inevitable.
