The Ludvico Treatment

Located throughout the great and varied plains, fields and tundras of Canada, The Ludvico Treatment have been writing, recording and performing together for close to a decade. While the live band has taken many forms, the core of the band has always been the creative partnership between Adam Veenendaal and Alexander Mark Kennard. Meeting in high school, the two began to shape and polish their shared artistic vision, beginning the long journey from socially-minded agit-punk to the glacial walls of sound and studied lyricism that have since become their trademark.

Politeia, the group's second release, represents the culmination of five years of work. Begun as Veenendaal moved from Caglary to Vancouver, the album marks the start of the long-distance collaboration that has become a lasting aspect of The Ludvico Treatment's creative process.
