The Holy Parachute is a British ska-punk band from Manchester, who formed at high school in April 2005. Initially, the five piece group played a selection of covers but soon began writing original material including their signature song "All I Need", and subsequently they played a series of consistent gigs in their home town. Early performances revealed a mixture of stylistic influences with rock, funk, ska, punk, swing and reggae the most prominent. Ever more however, the band are developing an increasingly individualistic horn-fused ska sound and are improving as a improv-fusion group.

The Holy Parachute's vision is to make music "..that can get anybody to have a good time and dance the night away.." Their carefree, party attitude, along with their appeal to fans of a diverse range of genres- from punk rockers to indie teens- makes them, at this early stage, conceivably comparable to early 90s band Sublime.
