The Garland Cult

The Garland Cult is a duo based in Dublin,Ireland. Having previous experience as founding members of the acclaimed electro-pop band Empire State Human Aidan and Lar wants to inject a bit of style and colour into today's insipid pop music. Inspired by the films, actors, singers, producers and art that they adore, they perform stunning electro-pop songs, in all the best senses of that term. They're popular and they're electronic and their music is not your average dumbed-down pop music.

An accomplished poet and one of the best voices in electronic music today, Aidan Casserly along with Lar Kiernan, and with the expert help of the exceptional producers they work with, have crafted complex arrangements around simple melodies that enhance the songs instead of cluttering them up. All in all, it's a sound for people who enjoy intelligence and thoughtfulness in their pop music.
