The Forefathers are an American instrumental, world fusion quartet based in Orlando, Florida. Formed in 2004, the members are acoustic/electric guitarist Rich Marcil, bassist/vocalist Thuan Nguyen, percussionist/harmonicists/vocalist Ross Jarrett, and percussionist/drummer Curtis Michelson, who replaced Arturo Escamilla in 2009. Their music is an eclectic blend of rock, celtic, latin and new age genres. Their self-titled debut CD was released in 2006. In 2008, they released Manataka.
