The Domestic Front

The Domestic Front (2000-2008) was the 'micro bionic' audio project of sound artist Thomas Bey William Bailey, known for its focus on making strange, elemental hybrids of the natural and synthetic, in varying degrees of seductive quality and violent intensity. Neither a mere 'noise project' nor an academically-inclined 'computer musician', T.D.F. provided 'functional' electronic music intended to re-integrate listeners with experiences and ideas outside of the human social sphere.

Further recording is now being done by Bailey under his own name- the T.D.F. moniker was retired in order to clear up confusion as to who is responsible for what (Bailey also works as an author, journalist, sound installationist and occasional video artist).
