the darby and joan club

The Darby and Joan Club are a Lethbridge Alberta based band started in 2006 by the two original members Lorne Deimert (guitar, vocal) and Rob Hepher (guitar). Played a few of their first shows under the name Hazy but quickly changed their name to Darby and Joan Club in reference to British style retirement homes. In 2006 they self released their self titled LP. Influenced heavily by the Boo Radleys, Mercury Rev, and Built To Spill.

In the spring of 2010 they released their second LP entitled "Everything Is Fine".
