Al and Emily Cantrell are a Nashville-based americana duo who met in a bluegrass band in Boulder, Colorado. Emily provides vocals and occasional piano, while Al is a master fiddler and mandolinist. They have released four CDs together, most recently The Heart Wants What It Wants (2004). The Cantrells have appeared on radio's Mountain Stage and E-Town.
