The Blameshares were: Roy Shrum (Vocals, Bass) Dave Howell (Guitars, Vocals) Thom Walsh (Drums, Vocals) Joshua Block (Keyboards) The Blameshares played an eclectic mix of Brit Pop, Folk, and Progressive Rock. Their wide-ranging style made them difficult to categorize. Influences included: Red House Painters, Blur, The Ocean Blue, and of course, The Beatles and U2.

The Blameshares released one self-titled CD in 2000, on the independent SFP label.
After the Blameshares disbanded, Thom Walsh and Joshua Block went on to play with Fine China , who released multiple CDs on the TOOTH AND NAIL label. Roy Shrum has written and performed for VINEYARD MUSIC, and was featured on the 2008 release, FURIOUS LOVE.
