Los Angeles 2003? From an eclectic line-up composed of Colorado born (guitarist/songwriter) Jeff Lewis Stevens and New York native (vocalist/lyricist) Jesse Dean, Testing Tomorrow is conceived. The first official full-length album ?One' is independently released only a few years later. Testing Tomorrow's first EP and second official independent release: ?The Push' (2008), represents both musically and lyrically the all too familiar feeling of being pushed over the edge.
Testing Tomorrow's first EP and second official independent release: ?The Push' (2008), represents both musically and lyrically the all too familiar feeling of being pushed over the edge. ?The Push' goes down that dark and difficult path of exploring what really drives one into bad relationships, bad situations and self-loathing. Produced by long time friend and mentor Rae DiLeo (credits include: Filter, Army of Anyone, Veruca Salt), ?The Push' was extensively reviewed and received significant results through a very active presence on various digital music stores, setting Testing Tomorrow apart from the grand average of crossover-rock bands and gaining them valuable exposure and underground popularity.
Testing Tomorrow is not new to collaboration with well-known producers. Their first record ?One', released in 2007, saw Daniel Ehrlich (credits include: Slipknot, Metallica, Slayer) in the production seat. His guidance showed Testing Tomorrow as a band with song-writing skills that set them apart from the masses.
Strong on the West Coast, the band smartly selected live guest-appearances at the House of Blues (Hollywood, CA), The Wave House (San Diego, CA), numerous Jagermeister tour-dates, various Armed Forces shows, and the Los Angeles Music Awards. Extremely active, regularly interviewed, and widely featured Testing Tomorrow's accolades include a vast array of Internet radio stations and webzines, as well as various radio, film and TV appearances.
Present day? Reformed after a brief reflective pause, Testing Tomorrow has a line-up that is now stronger than ever. Young but experienced Hawaiian bass player Andrew Barnes, brings a fresh breeze of renewed creativity. The band has also joined forces with music veteran drummer Diego ?Grom' Meraviglia. Originally from Italy and with 10 years of professional playing, extensive international tours, numerous albums, various signed bands, and a respectable session track record under his belt, Diego ads the finishing ingredients to a talented group. Testing Tomorrow continues their steady stride towards a promising record debut.
?The Pull'?(complementing the concept and music of the previous EP ?The Push') faces the opposite but interactive theme of attraction, temptation, seduction, desirability, and appeal. ?The Push' deals with what pushes one over the edge; ?The Pull' is simply what reels one back.
