Anthony Ashur

Tony Ashur has combined his classical training with contemporary improvisational techniques to create a new sound for American hymnody. He has arranged traditional hymn tunes in contemporary arrangements that bring a new vitality to folk songs, Anglo Celtic tunes, spirituals, gospel hymns and Gregorian chant. Tony has performed across the country from Maine to California. His concerts combine his music with inspiring stories that enlighten and entertain. He has been featured on radio and television in both the United States and in Europe.

Mr. Ashur lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and three children.
