Born in Houston, Texas, Teresa has spent the past few years living in Los Angeles, where she and her band, The Rhythm Tramps, have been creating the sound that you hear on her CDs. She has performed live with such legendary artists as Levon Helm, Pat Benatar, Bonnie Raitt, Lee Roy Parnell, Delbert McClinton, Kirk Whalum, Paul DeLay, Jeffrey Osborne, Asleep At The Wheel among others.
Teresa has been described as singing like a cross between Janis Joplin and Bonnie Raitt and playing piano "like Dr. John's little sister". The 6 piece Rhythm Tramps blaze through the songs, written mostly by her husband, Terry Wilson, (a founding member along with Paul Kossoff of England's Back Street Crawler) who has had songs recorded by Paul Rodgers (Free & Bad Company), Eric Burdon & The Animals, Maria Muldaur and most recently Kathy Mattea.
Her voice is featured on albums by Kirk Whalum, Stephen Bruton, Glen Clark, Randy Newman and blues artists Corey Stevens and Walter Trout. She even did a duet with Mickey Mouse on the Disney album, "Mickey's Comedy for Kids". Andie McDowell hired Teresa to coach her for her singing debut in the movie, "Michael", singing the song that she and her husband, Terry Wilson, wrote.
