Anomalous Disturbances
Genre:
Electronic

Anomalous Disturbances is the musical pseudonym of Terry O'Brien. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, he is a guitarist, composer, and producer active in the genres of ambient music and electronica. He utilizes the technique of "live looping" his guitar via an updated digital version of the "time lag accumulator" system pioneered by minimalist composer Terry Riley and employed by Robert Fripp, Brian Eno, and others. The resultant music is dronelike yet melodic. His work has been released on solo CDs, compilation CDs and used for television.
