Influenced by 70's and early 80's punk bands, they were formed in Brighton, UK in 1985 by Rich Newman (Guitar & Vocals), Ruth Churchman (Vocals) and Andy Calcott (Bass); there were many changes of drummer the longest serving was Paul. The lyrics and music were written by Rich Newman, with lyrics by Ruth Churchman on some tracks. They gigged comprehensively around Brighton and Central South of England, London and Scunthorpe, supporting UK Subs, Blitzkrieg, Chaos UK, Senseless Things, and The Levellers (in their early days).
