At age five, the gift of an old piano from her great aunt provided an ongoing source of joy and escape that would eventually provide a ticket out of her small hometown in Australia to a place of complete metamorphosis in Los Angeles.

Travelling to America for the first time at the end of 2003 marked the beginning of an intense period of creative output and a steady improvement in her health, culminating in the completion of this record in 2012.

Now enjoying sustained robust health for the first time in her life, Sunny is expanding on the small yet compelling private show-case performances she has given so far, to embrace a fully fledged live performance and touring schedule.

To adapt to any kind of performance opportunity, the live shows will range from performing solo with voice and piano, up to a full band including the fine musicians who appeared on the album complete with string section.

Planning is underway for a live album with the expanded band lineup and her second studio album of songs from her considerable and constantly expanding catalog.

"Check for Wolves" is a deeply beautiful and original work consisting of twelve songs, each of which bear the hallmark of her uncanny empathy and deeply intimate style.
