2. Co-founded by Jos? Ruiz and Dominique Nougaro, Stilettos released their first 45, "Johnny Weissmuller / Modern Boy" in 1978 with Thierry Derigon on drums. They released their only album, Les dix plus grands succ?s des Stilettos in 1980 on the label CBS. They disbanded in 1984. In 1991 and in 2004, Stilettos reformed for a single concert.
