Steve Liddell

Steve Liddell is a singer-songwriter from Tulsa, OK, who brings his own brand of original music, mixing Rock, Folk, Jazz, Reggae, and Roots/Americana. Liddell writes songs from the heart that speaks to listeners as he shares his experiences of love and loss and the ever present champion called hope. Building off diverse influences from the past and more recent ones Steve Liddell blends his love for all types of music and adds African and Latin rhythms to create a sound reminiscent of his influences but still his own.

Building off diverse influences from the past and more recent ones Steve Liddell blends his love for all types of music and adds African and Latin rhythms to create a sound reminiscent of his influences but still his own. Liddell's sound is influenced by Soul and Rock music, as well as the different types of World Music he has come in contact with on his world travels.

Six years performing his music, this artist has successfully promoted himself regionally in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas and performed during SXSW in Austin in 2004-2007. As well as playing shows from coast to coast and on the islands of Hawai'i, Liddell has also performed in the world famous city of Rio de Janerio, Brazil and recently toured the East Coast and the UK in the Spring '07.

Liddell's awards include Spot Music Award for Best Singer-Songwriter 2006, and a nomination for the 2006 Spot Music Award Best Album of the Year for his much anticipated record GOODLOVE.
