Chicken Shack was a British blues group from the sixties, Front man and guitarist was Stan Webb born in London in 1946. The group played blues on the Blue Horizon label in a similar style to the early Fleetwood Mac,. Singer Christine Perfect (Christine McVie) left after marrying John McVie (bassist) with Fleetwood Mac. Christine later joined Fleetwood Mac in their second reincarnation. Chicken Shack continued to record through the seventies with various band members and occasional change of name to Stan Webb's Chicken Shack.
