Anita Hegerland (born 3 March 1961 in Sandefjord, Norway), is a norwegian singer famous for her childhood career in the Scandinavian and German markets and subsequent vocal contributions to amongst others Mike Oldfield's work. Anita was discovered at age 8 by Fredrik Friis during a Christmas show where she was performing. Hegerland's musical career took off in 1970 with Mitt sommarlov ("My summer holiday") in Scandinavian countries.
