The modern-art rock three-piece Social Klash -- named after The need to portray the individual as a part of the new society begins to draw, under a strong influence of the post-punk-indie (do it yourself), -features Andres Mara (Rhodes, samplers, minimoog), Mars Polem (vocals, guitar, bass) and Abraham Salas (drummer). In late 2004, Mara and Polem had begun working on music together when Salas joined them, in a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood. In 2006 Social Klash recorded their debut album called ?Plastic Love? at Social Klash Studios in Hollywood, Florida (one of the band member's home by that time) with German Ortiz (Producer & Mixer) and Brian Gardener ?Big Bass- (Masters Engineering).
The wild identity of the band is considered a reflection of certain radical social attitudes and intellectual art in the Punk-New Wave music age.
?Plastic Love? has been cataloged for the critics as indie-electro-punk which fits in an underground scenery influenced by New Order, Talk Talk, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Talking Heads, The Smiths, Duran Duran, Miss Kitty, Love and Rockets, among others.

Social klash, una Banda de Indie/Electro/Rock. Vislumbra sus inicios en un barrio de fort-lauderdale (EEUU), con un estilo peculiar su sonido esta influenciado por el post-punk de los anos 80, el rock de garaje e inspirado en el movimiento de la musica electronica y el electro klash. La Banda es concebida con la idea de retratar al individuo en nuestras sociedades modernas bajo la influencia Punk-indie "hazlo tu mismo", mostrando su posicion frente a la sociedad de consumo post industrial. A finales del 2004, el cantante Mars Polem, cuyo nombre verdader es Agustin Salas y el pianista Andres Mara luego de separarse de la banda Solares empezaron a tocar juntos en la ciudad de Hollywood, al poco tiempo se incorpora el talentoso musico Abraham Salas, baterista. Sus tres integrantes han salido de escuelas de arte para dedicarse a la musica. Bautizados con el nombre de "Social Klash" graban su primer disco homonimo "Plastic Love" junto al exelente productor German Ortiz (Al Dimeola, Desmond Child) y Brian "Big Bass" Gardner (Mastering)( The Killers,Gwen Stefani, Fall Out Boy) publicado en Septiembre del 2007 cuyos singles "Come", "Evelyn", "Someday" y "Walking on the streets" muestran su intensa fascinacion el rock de los 80. La critica hace un parentesis en canciones como Walking on the streets y Someday que hacen enfasis en el caos de nuestra sociedad moderna y la indiferencia del ser humano. "Living on the Streets you stay, you pray, you fight and die"(Viviendo en las calles te quedas, rezas, peleas y mueres). "Someday you never know, you never mind, no mas control, no faith no more" (Algun dia, nunca sabras o no te importa, no mas control ya no hay Fe). Para acercarnos a esta banda podemos tomar como referencia la nostalgia de aquellos ensayos de lo que seria el despues del rock de Joy Division, depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, Duran Duran, y otros, bandas a las cuales se les atribuye una importante influencia. En sus canciones encontramos sonidos estruendosos y calurosos, caricaturescos, infantiles; en una indagacion entre la maquina y el sonido "vintage", entre el vapor de un sintetizador y el ronquido de una distorsion de bajo y guitarra. El sentimiento bohemio y trasgresor esta presente desde el primer acorde hasta el ultimo, sus ritmicas encaminadas a favorecer la idea del loop, engendro de la maquina, repetitivo; sin dejar de lado toda esta idea anti-comercial. Actualmente la banda lanza su primer video dirigido por "Milcho"del single "Come" una de las canciones mas frescas del album llenando los espacios de liricas que van del espanol al ingles con gran sutileza. La intensidad de su musica sugiere ser escuchada en lo mas intimo de una habitacion oscura, "dejame entrar en la fiesta, la fiesta de la sociedad Klash".
