Simmer

Simmer was an indie band from the small town of Joure, The Netherlands, active in 1996 (under the initial name Slide), 1997 and 1998. Fronted by singer, guitarist and songwriter Theo de Jong, Simmer released one album, the critically acclaimed but commercially unsuccesful Mothertongue (1997). Before Simmer (and Slide) frontman De Jong released two albums with the band The Serenes.
