She Likes Todd

She Likes Todd is Robert "Chicken" Sulzman, Kyle Tilev, Dennis Tynan, and David Burke. The current lineup (and arguably, sound) began in 2008, with the joining of Tynan to the band, replacing previous drummer, Todd Josefson. Sulzman, Burke, and Josefson had played music together for years, always under the SLT name, with Tilev joining as a second guitarist in 2006. She Likes Todd songs are intense, urgent anthems of love, hate, hardship, apathy, and hope. The musical style fast and unrelenting hardcore, but still rhythmically complex with strong hooks.

Listeners tend to draw immediate comparison to other melodic and technical hardcore punk groups such A Wilhelm Scream, Propagandhi, Ignite, and Frenzal Rhomb.

Recent accomplishments include the release of a brand new full length album, "A Story Still Untold" (www.shelikestodd.com), 2 east-coast U.S tours this year with 1 west-coast tour happening this fall, an opening slot on the mainstage at the 2009 Riotfest (Chicago, IL), and various notable gigs opening for major Chicago and national acts, including The Alkaline Trio, 88 Fingers Louie, Screeching Weasel, The Swellers, The Bollweevils and Strung Out.
