Swing the Coast (they recently changed their name from Searching Streetlights) is a self-proclaimed Pop Punk / Club / Powerpop band originally hailing from Michigan. They have recently made a move to Florida, and now are in Tennessee. Their MySpace page states that they want you to listen to them because they go 'all the way on the first date'. In a world where so many bands are continually flooding the scene it's very difficult to find a band with talent, heart, presence, maturity, originality, and so much more.

Swing The Coast brings everything and more to the table. With bouncing verse's, heart-stopping emotional chorus', and an amazing live performance the band is guaranteed to win over your heart and ears. The band is busy promoting their debut self titled EP. After a summer of blowing up Florida the band will be on the road and writing for their second EP.

Their second EP just came out in August and it's called Self-Titled. They went through a lot of guitarists, from Mike to Jarrod to Bobby to Travy (who's currently with them) and there may or may not have been more before Mike.
