2. S?an Ryan was born in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, one of ten children. At an early age the family moved to the Newtown area, and later to Garranmore, outside of Newtown. Sean grew to be a powerful fiddler, winning a number of competitions in his early 30's.

He passed away in 1985, having accomplished as much as any fiddler could hope. His compositions are perennially popular, and those lucky enough to find recordings of his playing continue to be inspired by his smooth bow hand and sweet touch.

3. Sean Ryan is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Newtown, Connecticut, currently one third of Hamilton College's Stoop Kid.

4. Sean Ryan is a tin whistle player now living in Galway.
