Savio Rego is a Singer-Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist. His style displays a variety of influences and is best described as Chillout Soul, a mix of Latin, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Electronica and Pop. Rego was born in India and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. At age 12, he participated in a church choir where he also learned to play the guitar. As an avid music listener, his family and his circle of friends, Rego was exposed to various music styles from Rock to Jazz to Electronica.

As an avid music listener, his family and his circle of friends, Rego was exposed to various music styles from Rock to Jazz to Electronica. Being musically inclined, at 15 he was performing songs of Sting, Eric Clapton, Nirvana, The Eagles and Joe Satriani.
In 2008 after a successful but unfulfilled career in the Financial Services Industry, Rego decided to pursue his true passion - music. He began to write songs on his guitar, self-produced and independently released two studio albums and two singles. His music has been featured on AllAboutJazz, SmoothJazz Radio, Jazz News, Indie Music Sampler, SkyFm and several other internet radio sites. His first single Miss You made its way to Commercial Radio at BBRadio in Germany, with its single landing in the Top 20 Chart for 5 weeks consecutively.
