There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Sandcastle is a one-person project founded by Elena Andersson as a side project of her first neoclassical/ darkwave music experiment called Gothic Lethargy that has existed since 1997. The music style of Sandcastle can be defined as goth/etherial/ darkwave/soundtrack. The name of the project is borrowed from the title of Iris Murdoch's novel "The Sandcastle".
