Andy started playing guitar aged 7, when the guitar was bigger than him. First classical guitar concert aged 12, later studied with John Williams. Student years in Manchester infused in Andy the urge to write, let it all out. Played for the Royal Opera company (Covent Garden), and also with full orchestra. Graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, formed a duo with fellow student Paul Dwyer and gigged all over the UK; also in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Dubai, Cyprus, Germany, Africa and Turkey. Lived for several years in Turkey, sold over 3,000.000 records in
