A collaboration between legendary producer Kramer and self taught musician/ composer Matt Menovcik Kramer ran Shimmy Disc Records until 2000. He has produced over 500 bands including Low and Galaxie 500. He was the engineer/arranger/producer of Urge Overkill's cover of "Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon". Recently, he has been composing music for theater productions, still producing many great bands, and releasing solo albums on the Tzadik label and restarting his label as Second Shimmy.

Matt Menovcik is the lead singer / songwriter for the band Saeta, whose last album, "We Are Waiting All For Hope", garnered much critical acclaim. He is also the bass player for the pop-punk band Ms. Led. Recently, Saeta's album has been released in Europe on Italian label Ghost Records, Saeta signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Italia, and Ms. Led has been promoting their latest record with much critical and commercial success. Matt is also currently composing the score for a Seattle-based indie feature.
