Nicole Safft (born 19 November 1975), professionally known as Rollergirl, is a German singer with a number of successful tracks such as "Dear Jessie" (a loose cover of a Madonna song) and "Luv U More," the latter being a cover of a song by Sunscreem. Does she roller-skate for real? Yes, sure, she's been practicing since she was a kid as she was a member in Waltrop Roller Skating Club. And of course the name Rollergirl comes from Heather Graham's character in Boogie Nights. Nicci was born in the idyllic countryside of Luenen in the Ruhr area and grew up there.

As her other passion alongside roller-skating was music she started taking singing lessons after graduating. Before becoming famous she has had the chance to be a block-printing apprentice and a part-time toilet cleaner. While on holiday on Mallorca she met producer Alex Christensen. At once he was convinced by her skills and he offered her to sing some demo-tapes. This was a unique chance. She inaugurated the first Love Parade in the UK with her debut-single "Dear Jessie" (dance-version of Madonna's song). The song was placed for weeks in charts and was the foundation-stone for her next successful singles "Luv U More", Bangles cover "Eternal Flame", super-sexy "Superstar" and "Close To You" and, of course, her debut-album "Now I'm Singin'". Now, being famous, she has some better jobs to do - she has been a co-host in "Interaktiv" and host in "The Dome". And now it looks like Nicci and Alex are not only making music together - they had a baby: Tiger Alex Colin.
